Cabin Rentals of Georgia - Hemlock Hideaway at Westwood Drive, Blue Ridge, Georgia.

I should start by saying the cabin was beautiful.

BUT
We knew there were going to be "security" cameras on the property. But having cameras facing the hit tub is creepy!
What these cameras were really used for was to make sure we didn't have extra people staying there. To be clear we paid the very expensive $25 per person per night for 4 extra people. we had arranged for our 2 year old to stay with grandma for this trip but last minute she wasn't able to watch our baby. So our 2 year old came with us (she slept in our room on an air Matress)
After our stay (which I'll get to) we were charged an additional $280 for this. So now we know what the cameras are for right? Someone is just sitting there watching us.

Funny they weren't watching when the cleaning lady was still there apon our arrival (we showed up 30 minutes after our check in time).

Funny how they weren't watching when the outdoor fire place wouldn't work. The chimney was clogged and was unusable. Can you imagine a family vacation in the mountains and not being able to sit by a fire and roast s'mores with your kids? I called the first day we were there and no one returned my call. I had to call a second time and was told that the owners would have to send someone out (they never did).
So 7 nights in the mountains zero fires, zero s'mores.

Funny they weren't watching when a bucket that had been placed under a sink overflowed. Obviously they knew about it (hence the bucket).

Funny they weren't watching when the microwave sparked and almost started on fire leaving us the last 3 days without a microwave.

Ironically enough I would have let all this go and left a positive review if they hadn't charged my card $280 with no notice at all a week after returning my security deposit.

I won't even get into costumer service. The owner and I got "disconnected" but he never called back and won't answer my calls to try to sort this out in a fair manner.

There are a lot of companies in Blue Ridge to rent from. Don't use this one!
